During my internship at Digidee, I was tasked with setting up a fictional company through their approach of human-like branding. You can approach a brand as you would approach a person. Ask your brand questions and see what emerges. Who would like to associate with your company? What does your company enjoy? What goals does your company have? When you fill in these questions for yourself, you get a beautiful and clear picture of your brand.
I approached my fictional company in the same way. I created the company NoMisteak, an Argentine meat restaurant located in the city center of Enschede. They exclusively sell quality meat directly from Argentina. The name originated from the idea that they make no mistakes, with a playful incorporation of the word "steak."
With this concept in mind, I conducted extensive research and eventually designed a logo and various branding elements that suited a restaurant. This assignment allowed me to fully unleash my creativity, and I spent months working on it, resulting in a surprising outcome.
